It depends. If I am getting away alone for peace, it would be the cabin. If I am getting away to let loose and have fun, it would be the cruise. But then again, I could go on Seabourn...that would be a very peaceful, relaxing cruise. I don't like beach resorts. They are outragously overdone. There's no appeal for me there.

Cabin 0 Solitude would be great, but if I had 3 weeks, I might pick the cruise and go to Alaska.

I think b or c would be nice. Right now the cabin if it was next to a lake would be the best one for me though. People in close quarters just drive me nuts so the cruise would be the last.

i have always wanted to go on a cruise, so i would try it, but for long term i would like to go to a remote are in the mountains and just get away from all the BS and hustle and bustle and the way society is today with the need to make you feel like you have to have a certain car or house or whatever! I am just tired and I sometimes wish I could just disappear for a long while! Sorry to ramble so!

C. Cabin........ No one for miles, piece and quiet, nature, fresh air, fishing, campfire, that sounds beautiful. Fix some bacon, eggs, biscuits & boiled coffee on the camp fire. I'd just take me a nap out in the sun! Maybe even take a dip in the lake. Catch me a fish and fry it in a skillet on that same fire too! Listen to the birds, get back to whats real! It would give me a whole new outlook on life! I may ever come back.....

Depends on what kind of mental state I was in at the time:
If I was felling overworked and stressed out, I would go to the cabin.
If I wanted to go someplace with my daughter and maybe a significant other, I'd go to a beach resort.
If I wanted to go someplace with my homies (my girlfriends as a group), we'd do the cruise for sure.

Cruise...can't totally relax if it's too hot and humid (like in the beach) or if I have to cook and pick-up after myself (like in a cabin).

Some camping in the general area close to one of the most beautiful Great Lakes, in a suitably safe and tranquil forest location/camp/5-star resort, preferably on the Canadian side.
