My right breast tonight has started to leak a clear slightly milky fluid, is this normal at such an early stage, and if so why hasn't my left breast?

I am 17 weeks pregnant and my right breast started to leak tonight a clear watery kind of milky drops, is this normal early on in the pregnancy?
And my other breast is not, is this like a pre breast milk thing? What causes it? Did you experience this?

Mine started leaking about 5 months into the pregnancy. Just a little bit and like you, it was only the right breast (maybe because thats my dominant side). It would leak every now and again through the rest of my pregnancy. It was never much and it only happened at night. Its just your breasts filling up with milk in preparation for the new arrival.

completely normal. one of mine leaked reeeeeeeally early, the other one didnt. it is colostrum, the fatty fluid baby drinks before your milk comes in. dont worry, though it can get annoying. perhaps start to think about wearing nursing pads if it is quite a regular occurance to save the embarrassment of leaky patches when out in public

your body is preparing for breastfeeding and yes it can happen this early. the left one will catch up you're still early in your pregnancy. my breast are doing the same thing but i have to squeeze them to get liquid out and I'm 28 weeks.
