1) The factors of 3x(x + 2) are 3, x, and (x + 2)
The factors of 6x(2x - 3) is 2, 3, x, (2x - 3)

Write all of those factors as a set, remembering not to write any repetitions, and you get
2, 3, x, (x + 2), and (2x - 3)

Multiply it together and you get your lowest common multiple.

6x(x + 2)(2x - 3)

2) 4 / (x^2 + 25) + 6/(x^2 + 6x + 5)

First, factor the denominators.

4/[(x - 5)(x + 5)] + 6/[(x + 5)(x + 1)]

As you can see, the lowest common multiple of the denominators is (x - 5)(x + 5)(x + 1). This will be your common denominator. Put both fractions under that denominator.

[4(x + 1)] / [(x - 5)(x + 5)(x + 1)] + [6(x - 5)]/[(x - 5)(x + 5)(x + 1)]

Merge as a single fraction, with that denominator.
