Why Pakistanis don't do anything to change the image of a terrorist nation?

Because the pakistanis are between a rock and a hard place. Basically if the inside of a prison was just prison staff and prisoners with no barriers what would the staff do? Thats the position theyre in now. They actually have tried and with pressure from various groups in their region have failed. Every time bush goes over there and he leaves in good standing, by the time he reahces america those groups have changed the pakistani presidents mind.

Good question you got there. Why don't Africa build some water plants? Why don't China just switch to democratic gov? Why don't poor people just get a job? We'll never know.

They're not bunch of American Idol watching middle class Americans working toward American dreams. They're Pakistanis. Lot of people in that region look up to anybody good or bad, if they stand up against the US force.

Because it's the nature of the Beast. The government does not respond to the will of its people. It doesn't give its own citizens, who live in vast poverty, hope for their own future. So the majority of citizens look to their Islamic fundamentalist beliefs for support, comfort, and stability. As long as the government structures don't respond to the needs of Pakistani citizens the image won't change. That's all they know, and all they can fall back on are words of Mullahs who hate anything or anyone who is different than they are. They need someone to blame for their lots in life. Why not blame someone who is different or has different beliefs?

who are the terrorists ?? Alqaeda is not a Pakistani group thats for sure !! Mulla Omer, Gubadeen khimatyar, and few other people whom US name from time to time are all Afghanis !! Osama is Arbic ....none of the Pakistanis have ever been listed as leader of Alqaeda ! so why Dragging Pakistan into it ? just because it is their neighbour?? well threre had been some tribes who were not terrroists but they have provided food to those groups across the border, these are actualy not udner Pakistani governament and are free states and now Pakistani army is working on those tribes.they ahve attacked them and even killed many of their leaders just for helping the terrorists groups !! and even now Pakistan has secured the borders and a huge number of army is working there........this is the only duty of Pakistan.If anyone thinks that Pakistani army would go and fight across the border, they are mistaken....because Pakistan is not authorised for that ! now its the duty of Afghani plus the other armies which are present there to fight those groups......Those terrorist groups are harming Pakistan as well and hundreds of people have been killed through suicidal bombing in past few months just becuase Pakistan is not allowing them to get benefit from it ! and is opposing them ! is ther any justification of those suicidal bombing in Pakistan? Pakistan is not directly at war with any country but they are suffereing just becuase of their support agaisnt terrorism and now if people say that Pakistan is a terrorist nation they are unfair and don't know the reality !! what terrorism people are talking about?? what have Pakistan done to the world peace?? they were not involved in 9/11, they had cooperated US in attacking Afganistan (agaisnt the will of Pakistani public) becuase this attack was unfair .....what else the world want from Pakistan?would you mention the terrorist act that would ahve been commited by it? all are done by alqaeda and mostly the people are either Afghani or arabic and Pakistan is been accused for everything......why you people don't think of the fact beyond the media?
Vise president of US , halliray clinton , and some of the US army officials have visited pakistan for this reason and then went back satisfied knowing that Pakistan has nothing to do with Alqaeda or other groups rather it is doing more than what it should do against terrorism......Still media would never show it positive.....anyway.....pakistani president is going to face the media from all over the world for this purpose in few days....becuase even Pakistanis are tired of it......on one side they are under attack of Alqaeda and one other terrorists groups and on other hand they are being accused by the westren media.....!its hopeless realy and frustating for Pakistani nation even ! the world think we are terrorists and the terrorists think we are with the world which is the fact actualy but there is not shelter of pakistan on any ground ! they have picked the enemity of Afghanistan for this reason that they helped US and now Afghanis whom Pakistan is accumodating since russian invasions ,hate it . and this was not a minute migration , the largest ever migration in the history of the world and Pakistan has accumodated them in the condition where their resources were not enough for them even....more than 4 millions people...a great deal for a poor country like pakistan , but they did that just becuase Afghanistan is muslim country and they owe this to Pakistan.but Pakistan have recieved only hatred in return !just for helping US.and thanx to US for this.....Pakistan was already having India on one side now they have afghanistan on other side .and both hate Pakistan to death and the world media is treating Pakistan as if they are responsible for all this misery in the world !!! Man !! where should pakistan Go !! would there be any peace for Pakistan??

It's up to other countries to form opinions, and the media to spread them. And those opinions don't necessarily have any bearing on the reality of the situation.
