India is not the 'most' unclean nation in the world.
it is not just poverty that is making our country so dirty. there is no dignity of labour here. keeping our home sparkling clean is not enough.we should keep our surroundings neat too.we make our parks and public places dirty and feel that there are people to clean up the mess we made. we do not feel responsible to keep our country clean.

Poverty...yeah, despite that those poor folks still smile! Man, there are a billion people here...n given the kind of policies practiced by the leaders of India since independence....it made poverty a business to be harped upon esp. at the time of elections. I find it very amusing when people from all over the world offer their condescending views as to whats 'wrong' with India...I don't deny that yes there are many things that need to be fixed or taken care of....but hey, thats not gonna happen overnight...it will take sometime....and despite such poverty, despite numerous problems, internal or external enemies never missing a chance to destabilize India....isn't it a miracle that India made strides in different fields...be that education, evolution of democracy (warts n all), technological & scientific progress, steps to eradicate social discrepancy....(the kind of affirmative action practiced in India is among the most rigorous)....the world is amazed, n in certain sense jealous too, as to despite glaring contrasts India has transformed itself into an economic power....other nations are learning from India..although India unlike some other countries never trumpets its virtues or rams its values down others throats.....the fact is India is the most unique nation on the face of the earth...which is in constant motion and chaos, thereby evolving at the same time...thats what dynmacity is all about.
Also, this perception of poverty....yeah, Indians might be poor on the outside...but those folks have warmth in their hearts....unlike the Western culture...where putting up a fake smile, stabbing u in the back, followed by a "have a nice day" comment is the norm.

there was poverty in almost all the areas within India.but ,presently it has changed. the nation has picked up well economically.but the poverty remains and some areas it is becoming worse.this might be because, a peculiar and alarming gap between the rich and the poor.the poor and uneducated are in big trouble finding themselves a lively hood. however, the uncleanliness is a problem because of rising population.the efforts to make the nation clean is hindered due to poor and poverty of most percentage of the total public of India.instead of making every development uniform and the benefits reaching all,it is not serving purpose to most of the common man of India.India has improved a lot. it is not filthy nation.if you are telling this you should be either a rich man or one who do not belong to india.we are improving ,but it might take time.

India looks like unclean nation because of its poverty.
poverty is due to economic backwardness.economic backwardness is due to prolonged rule of the colonial rule of the british government.india is a filthy nation because the colonial people said so.still the problem prevails because of the new colonial rulers.

Because we have been trained by our society to hide the garbage under the carpet.
Because the municipalities don't make it convenient for us to throw wastes in marked places.
Because there are no proper toilets on the busy roadsand the existing few toilets are very filthy.

None. those previous and run down systems are hundreds, now and lower back hundreds of years previous. this is hard to take excitement in different international places while the US is in basic terms a 200 year previous teenybopper listening to Justin Bieber. while i became a newborn my mom used to tell me that once I grew up i might take excitement in the flavor of broccoli plenty extra. She became precise.
