I'm ready for a female president as well, and also a president of another race. To be honest, America is not the land of equality that it is claimed. There are many people out there who won't vote for someone simply because she's a woman, which in my opinion is sad, and anti-feminist... and it's the same with racial things. It's tragic, but true. I hope we have one soon, though, maybe she can make order or this chaos!

We are ready for competent, fair and honest leadership from a president who serves the will of the American people. If it comes from a woman, so be it.

Probably, the country is apparently ready for female, African American, Latino, Mormon presidents. They're all running for 2008.

We are not ready for a women president, especially one named Clinton. She is a divider not a person who will bring our country together. We need someone who truly cares about God and country. Hilliary just cares about herself and her personal agenda. "Taking money away from all of the hard working people by taxing them to the hilt! Signing laws into power by executive order that will cripple our economy and destroy our country just because she wants to. No Sir, that is not the kind of leader Our Founding Fathers had in mind when they started this "Great Country of Ours!" God Bless The USA!

If your suggesting "Hillary Clinton" then FORGET ABOUT IT ! otherwise I would have no problem with a female president, what about "CONNIE", she's smart, articulate, posses diplomatic skill (yea hillary, ya need them, the world does'nt revolve around you), and actually looks somewhat like a woman in a dress, NOT those stupid "Pastel" pant's suites, that hillary wears to hide those "Sausage Links" she call's legs ! GOD, the clintons are SO embarrassing for us to the rest of the world, we already had the entire cast of "HEE HAW" running the country into the ground, let's NOT do it again ! PULEEEZ people !

America is prepared for a female President because the government is permanently established and whoever is elected will be controlled by the checks and balances mechanism of the government.

I don't think Elizabeth Dole is even running. She would be the only choice that has a chance. I know you may think Hillary has a chance, but give Bill enough time in the limelight and he will put her changes in the toilet.
