I was wondering about it. Not to mention that I'm really scared and want to move out. I was washing these dishes from the closet where I had found the other two. I opened the drawer and there was another one. This one I saw closer and I sprayed it to death. It has a light brown round body with white/tannish circles around it. It's almost 2 a.m. I hope someone's up that know's!!! The region here is San Antonio, Texas.

Howdy ma'am.
There's not much I can do about your phobia of spiders. Most gals go skitzo about anything arachnid, so you're in the company of millions.
Your daughter said she did not observe the any of the characteristics of the brown recluse. Since her eyes are better than yours (and mine), we can trust that the now dead bug was never dangerous. There are actually very few spiders that are hazardous to your health. The guys you gassed are not included in that group.
You don't need to move to another apartment. There will be just as many benign critters there too. If you want to swamp the apartment with insecticide and make it the Anshutz of the bug phylum... be my guest. Just plan on taking your pets, you and your daughter on a short vacation while the vapors clear.
In the warmer climes of Texas you are more likely to see cute little scorpions than dangerous spiders. But... when was the last time you saw a scopion? While your fears are real and it is uncomfortable to think about or get close to our 8 legged friends, your health and safety is not at risk here.
My advice is to drink a beer, chill out and think about better things like white sharks in the gulf or snakes on planes.
My sympathies on your chronic pain. I know that's tough.

I can feel for you! Spiders are my main enemy by far!!! YUK>>>>> But living here in NC, never heard of the Sandspider BUT I do know the only few really poision spiders in the US are the Recuse and Black Widow and I have been bit by a Brown Recluse, bad experience. Like you, I keep spray all over the house. Our recluse has a yellow shaped, kinda violin shape on its back, it your spider like that, not a deep bright yellow, but not a tan I think unless it is the difference in the sex of the spider. And they have splindly legs. IF it is a recluse, you really have to get rid of them cause the bit makes for a really sick person and left a hold in my hand where I was bitten, the skin just died very fast...was in the hospital for a few days and last year got bit by a Copperhead, only had to have a half day in the hospital getting drugs and was find but still have my bite marks!

Call your County Agiculture Ext. Office and I am sure they can help you with advice or coming there and seeing just what kind of badass you have in your cabnets. Do this ASAP please. IT could not be a poisionious but make sure. I get chills just thinking about it. LOL.... But Best Answer there is is calling this group, I promise, before doing anything on your own. Know your enemy first sweety.

Hope this helps,
Emily Poole

Is it more like bulbous round or more like two segments pointing off in opposite directions?
