Sorry you have been out of contact with you Mom for so long. I hope someone can guide you in the right direction and you both get together soon. My only thought is to contact the the USA government try "social security" they might have some answers how you can find her. There are many public records open to the anyone. Ask someone in your city government if they can help you. You can always type her name into the "google or yahoo search engine" along with the city she last lived in and see if something pops up. It's harder to find an e-mail than to find their ordinary address and phone number. If you have any kind of leads, follow them and ask around. You can hire an agency to do it for you. Be careful of carrying any expectations about whether speaking with her will be welcomed or not, after 8 years you have to be emotionally prepared for any sort of reaction from her.

Whoa.... i got no idea either. Ask someone from your momma's town maybe they knew, or your momma's relatives or friends. Or.... just ask a Hacker to do it. Hacker is the last, very last option for me.
