Howzit!!

If you question was "how do I increase Virtual memory" I have some easy-to-follow steps for you:

Control Panel | System | Advanced tab | under perfomance click on the "Setting" button | Advanced tab

You'll see Virtual memory and the available size in MB (megabytes). The recommend 750MB if you game a lot and have recommeded minimum RAM (512MB anything less than this you should kill yourself).

I hope you find this helpful, cheers

Windows Virtual memory is used by Windows operating system, if there is insufficient memory in your system for running any program or process which need more memory than installed memory on your system that time Windows use virtual memory. Windows use hard disk space for allocating Virtual Memory on your system.

It on the Hard Drive when you not have enough RAM. It will make your computer run slow as it have to read and write to the Hard Drive in place of RAM. I tell people to max out on RAM and then you not use Virtual Memory as much. Also, you can go to Start > Run and type msconfig and click the Startup tab and uncheck programs you not use often. They will still start when you double click them.
IF, you using Windows2000 and not have msconfig ask and people tell you how to get, or, email me.
