hi all

i am currently studding BA social work through UNISA, although i dont know much about it?

i would like to find out general things like how much do social workers earn? is there a higher qualification after BA? once you qualify is it difficult to get a job? is there a demand for social workers oversees?

if any one is a social worker(esspecially in South Africa) please help?

i am interested in working with children.
what do social workers get paid? in S.A the assumption is that they are over-worked and under paid. is this true?

You can get a Master's in Social Work after your BA. In SA I would think that social workers are in high demand. DA

You do PG agter degree in social work, and then look around for NGO's hiring young talents with your qualification (almost anywhere in the civilized world): it's a good field, paying, and with good prospects, if you are hardworking and levelheaded!
