How come everything I dream about someone other than my family, I would just wake up and feel like I really miss that person even though I see that person almost everyday?

Maybe you have lost someone close to you in the past, so you have a constant fear of losing those you love. Even if these dreams are upsetting, I am betting that you are grateful every time you see the person you dreamt about. This could be a good thing because you won't be the type to take those you care about for granted.

Its subconsciously telling you that even though you are with them in reality, it is just telling you that you value your family so much or they are at the top of your priority and you'd do the best for them..:) so do consider that a pleasant dream:)
