I'm American and think you are wrong considering we give by far the most aid to impoverished nations and fight hardest to bring people freedom and democracy. America is also the most culturally diverse country in the world with people from every nation represented so it is hard to ignore the world for Americans. Anti-Americanism is ignorant and you should think a little bit before asking things like this.

I'm American and do not think that at all!!!
In fact being here on Y/A has produced some real fine friends from ALL over the globe! I keep in touch daily with these people thru private email. We discuss everything from politics to religion to sexual orientation! I love learning through anothers prospective on life!!

Because we are. We pay to resolve everyone else's problems (financially, emottionally and physically) Did your country assist america after hurricane Katrina? Third world nation's would be 4th and 5th world nations if it weren't for american generosity. Frankly, i give a rats ... about foreign countries in need of help. But we give anyway.

I'm an American living in Korea. I'm sure Koreans exist. I've also been to Mexico. I'm sure Mexicans exist. I've also met a lot of Canadians. I'm fairly certain they exist.
So... I think that proves your question is silly.

yeah, that ticks me too sometimes. like, calling the champs of NBA and NFL, the world champions. I mean, we all know they're dominant, but there are hundreds of countries out there besides them.

that is a ridiculous statement. how many americans do you actually know? have you ever even talked to one of us? You mistake pride in ourselves for world domination.. every other country whines about us, but who do they come to for help every time? get over it !
