Well, it wont happen over night unless you take some steroids, which i might add are illegal.....First of all you have to hit the gym hard with a well planned work out routine. Some cardio would be great as well. Try some protein powders. Go big, 50grams per serving. Add some weight gainers to bulk up even faster. Eat eat eat as well, high protein foods such as chicken, steak, beef, veggies, oatmeal...etc. As far as product names, they all do the same as far as adding on weight. Xience has great products, but are rather costly. If you are a big fan of water, try some creatine powder. That will swell up rather quickly due to the water mass that your muscles will retain, but like i mentioned above, hit it hard!! Other quick products for what is known as "pumps" that work good to get you that rock solid look are Equabuterol and Nitrix....

Before you risk your health and life taking HGH, steroids, creatine, or other potentially dangerous products, try protein powder. It is supposed to be safe, just make sure you drink plenty of water. I asked my doctor first, and he said it this was fine.

In 2 months of taking 3 scoops/day (82.5 grams of protein), my lifting increased between 40% and 100% on the various machines, probably 75% on average. However, I didn't go from being an out of shape fat slob to a muscle freak. With diet and exercise, I got slightly less fat, and I think I put on a little muscle, but it is not all that noticeable. The fact that you are skinny may make the added muscle more noticeable, my muscle is covered with a little fat.

They say your total protein intake (if you want to add muscle) should be 1.0-1.5 grams per pound of body weight, per day. In my case I was conserrvative and got about 165g/day at a weight of 165lb.

Note that you need to work out with weights to build muscle - I don't think protein powder will work without lifting weights.

One word of warning - be careful not to injure yourself. I went from 45-60lb. to 105 lb. on the chest press, and whatever is in my shoulder didn't catch up with the rest of me. I injured my shoulder, so I'm temporarily off the lifting and protein powder. I would suggest getting a few training sessions at the gym, not only to get advice on the best way to build muscle, but to make sure you perform the exercises properly to prevent injury.

I went on www.bodybuilding.com and ordered whey protein isolate, which is lower in fat and carbs (this may not be as important for you since you are skinny). I used Nitro 92 Extreme (by Extreme Labs), chocolate flavor. The label is wrong, though, as far as servings. You won't get 60 servings of 2 scoops, but about 50 servings of 1 scoop (they aren't cheating you, its just that the label is wrong). I took 3 scoops per day, mixed with water or in oatmeal. I picked this brand of protein powder because I am overweight and wanted less fat and carbs, and this was one of the cheapest as far as the cost per gram of protein. In general, the powders that you mix yourself are much cheaper than protein bars. (However it is still pretty expensive - $27.95 for a 3.3 lb. jar that lasts about 17 days.) Sometimes the mixing is a little difficult and the protein clumps up. A protein mixer should help, they cost about $10. Even if the protein clumps up a little, it still tastes fine as long as it is wet. It returns to its dry status if it escapes the water - very strange.

Again, I'm not sure about how much better you will look on the outside, but you will be lifting more weight within a week, and will keep improving substantially for about 3 weeks. After that you will still improve, but not as rapidly. Expect less improvement on the arm machines for curls and triceps (40%-50%), more for everything else - chest, back, and legs (75%-100%+). I suspect if you are already in good shape it wouldn't help as much, since everyone has their limits, but for normal people like us who have a lot of room for improvement, it should be a big help.
