I USED TO WORK FOR A INS. COMPANY 7 YEARS AGO. THEY FILMED A COMMERCIAL I WAS IN IT . I PLAYED A PART SAYING GET INS CHEAPER .I NEVER SIGNED ANYTHING. THEY STILL PLAY THE COMMERCIAL 2 OR 3 TIMES A DAY IN CALIFORNIA .THEY PROFIT FROM THIS COMMERCIAL . SHOULD I BE GETTING PAID ???

No you should take it as a lesson. Get a contract!

If you didn't sign a contract, then you don't have any rights in the matter. Assuming you were paid for your work, you've pretty much gotten all you're going to get. If you weren't paid for your work, and presuming it wasn't part of your normal job duties, then you might have a case; in that situation, contact an attorney.

I would love to say hell yeah they owe you money...but I am sorry...it can go several ways...
1. you either knew about the commercial at that time and agreed to being in it. If thats the case, did they offer to pay you? if no...sorry they owe u nothing....if you agreed to have the commercial they owe you nothing, UNLESS you have a written statement talking about them paying you.
2. did you get in the commercial without you knowing it...thats where it can get sticky...if that video taped you without you knowing is wrong, but the most you can get from it would be getting them to take it off tv...and IF they don't thats where you can get money....normally it wont go to that though....sorry, wish I had better news for ya.
