Oh My Gosh! This has happened so many times and when I read this, I had to put my thinking cap on, not because it was hard to come up with something, it is because my memory is so bad.
The first one that is prominent is that I went to an eye doctor and when he told me I needed glasses, I told him, I would have to wait awhile to get them as I didn't have money. He heard me telling a nurse that I had taken custudy of my 3 grandsons before Christmas in an emergency situation and was going to take them permanently and was struggling financially. He told the nurse to let me select the pair of eyeglasses that I wanted and to just bill him. I started to cry. I could not believe that anyone, especially the doctor himself would do such a thing for me.
Then at the end of July of this year, right before the beginning of getting ready for the new school year, I had open heart by-pass surgery and didn't know what to do with my grandsons as I had no one to watch the boys as I have no relatives in Indiana except their mother and she is cruel to them.
Someone heard about my problem through my insurance company, on the phone, when I started crying, and they told a church here in town and the church called me and offered to sponsor the boys and to even start them in school while I was in the hospital, knowing I was going to be kept for 4 weeks total, due to not having anyone to take care of me after the surgery.
On top of that, these church members bought the boys school clothes, found out my 2 house toilets had broken seals, and while I was still in the hospital, came to the house and replaced the 2 toilets.
These were all done as random acts of kindnesses from strangers that just were caring people.
I could give you more examples, but this answer is already too long for this forum. Thank you for asking and what a fantastic question!

Myself and my 6 year old son went to a coffee shop, had milkshakes, a meal, coffee's, the works - always do this after shopping at the end of the month - there was a man sitting at a table next to us, he got up to leave, turned around and said that seeing my son and I have such a wonderful time, brought a smile to his face and how he wished that he had done that with his children when they were young - he paid our entire bill for us. The waitress later told me that he was a regular there and was always angry and in a bad mood - she said it was the first time she had ever seen this man smile and show generosity towards someone as he has never ever even left a tip before and has always been rude. She couldn't believe what she had seen. Well, neither could I! Bless his soul.

I was a wee one and was buying a model to build and didn't understand the whole price is without tax before you pay thing. I was like 19 cents short and a man in line behind me paid the difference... So nice. I still remember that and I was probably 7 or 8 years old.

Yes. I was shopping and came out with a case of soda pop it broke open in the parking lot and this lady I never met before helped me gather them all up.. I also have done things for other people..Example. I was at a truck stop and there was this young woman with her 3yr old. Her so called husband left her there while supposedly out buying a truck. She had been there for about 6 hrs no food no money. (I found this out from cashier) On my way out I stopped and handed her $20 and told her to get her and her child something to eat..Never did get her name. Made me feel good to help others...

Yes, I have...well it was late one nite and I was at White Castles waiting for my food. This gorgeous guy walx in just as I compliment this girl on her extremely hot shoes. After I tell her I like them and make small talk about her flats, he walks over and asks if I like the shoes well thinking nothing of it I go yeah her shoes are cute. All of a sudden he reaches in his pocket and pulls out a huge ( over $300) stack of money and launches it at me and tells me to go get a pair b/c I'd look nice in them ! Well of course I insisted that I couldn't take money from a stranger especially not an amount that large. Well long story short he wasn't so much of a stranger 2 years later. He's still a perfect gentleman though !!!

Yes it was so embarrassing I was in the check out line at the grocery store, buying a turkey before thanksgiving, and I didnt bring enough change. I was short so i said, just put it back..this couple behind me said "oh she cant afford her turkey for thanksgiving"...and paid for my bird! It was nice, and I was greatful, but I am not that poor and felt so dumb! Thank you kind people whoever you were...

I was photographing some cliffs at a lookout and my bike stalled some time after I had packed up and headed off. Some foreign tourists pulled over in their van and offered their assitance.

Oh deffinetely! Me and my best friend were at the mall at the food court and we were in line for chinese food and there was an old italian couple in front of us and he was about to pay for his food and he overheard me and my friend arguing over who was going to pay for our food. He was soooo sweet and so kind that he offered and was almost about to pay but we couldnt let him do that but still the thought counts!
Before he left... he told us we were so sweet for arguing over who was going to pay and that we are so beautiful and thats why he had offered cause he thought it was sweet of us.
Isnt that sooo cute of him, lol?!
