I heard about the news with Joe Horn leaving New Orleans and it is very dissapointing. I think Horn was kind of treated unfairly? Does Sean Payton really not want him on the team anymore? Whats this little "fued" with them all about?

There is no feud. Horn is from a different Saints team and Payton is looking to improve his WR corps with younger, faster guys. Horn didn't fit anymore because of both his salary and his age. Although he was a leader in the locker room and community, it didn't make since for the Saints to keep him as a number three or four receiver which is where he stood if he stayed.

Horn has a couple of average seasons left but his contributions to the Falcons will be as a go to possession type receiver in short yardage situations and key moments of the game. His days of 10 catches for 120 yards are all but gone. My expectations for him for the upcoming season are 45-55 receptions for 600 or so yards and 6 TD

Its sad to see someone who has been with a team so long leave, but thats just the nature of the nfl. Horn, like many veterans, cost a lot of money and is an injury risk. Too bad that a player who has a positive influence on thier community cant work something out with the organization that they have meant so much to for so long. Can we please get a PLAYER salary cap along with the team sc? Contracts are ridiculous and belittle those players who represent honesty and loyality.

The Saints didn't need him or his salary. Marquis Colston, Terrence Copper and Devery Henderson are younger and more athletic. Drew Brees is the key to the Saints passing game not Horn.

I always find it humorous that us common people think we know more than the coach. There was a reason they did not want to pay him the money he required. Those GMs and coaches earn millions because they know what they are doing, even if your favorite guy is cut.
