Whats the Presidential curse. Political enemies accuse the President of a crime and drag the country into a parade of court cases, so the opposing party could be elected President and get the congressional majority?

Reagan and Bush were the Presidential curse. The consistent denigration of progressive citizens and labelling anybody who is not a neofascist as "liberal" has convinced an entire generation of working Americans to love the chains that the Republicans forged for them.

because he was NOT elected President in 2000. He was appointed. It only affects Presidents "elected" in years ending in 0 [zero].
