Because money and a better career are not the only things to be jealous of. In fact, those are the two things that I am generally NOT jealous of.

It has nothing to do w/ money or career...maybe that person is just jealous of you as a whole. That person may see something in you that you don't see..
Believe it or not money and a career still does not make people satisfied w/ their own lives...

Apparently you have something good going on in your life that this person is jealous of. Money and career aren't everything. Doing something good with your time on this planet IS. Some of the most unhappy people I've met in my life had gobs of money, status and seemingly great careers.

Because he does not have what you have. If you have someone that loves you and he doesn't then all the money in the world won't make him happy but rather jealous of you. It all depends on your circumstances against the other person.

Usually when someone who is more successful than you and is jealous of you, has an obvious low self esteem problem.
There is something that you have that they envy you for, and that's something you should be proud about. You probably have a heart and a conscience, which makes you special and unique.

you don't have to be good looking, rich or have a good
career for someone to be jealous of you.Maybe you are a
lovable caring person or you have a special quality about
yourself that the other person cannot have!

Perhaps you seem happier than this jealous person, and they want to be like you. Not everyone who seems to be happy really are nehind closed doors.
