i am fed up with these stupid protest,the aclu! where are the mothers , who are the strongest vote and voice in america? why aren't we out there protesting to protect our kids from pedophiles? they can't be reformed, they will repeat offences! they have their own lawers ie(ACLU)PROTECTING THEM.the have a big network system call NAMBLA! GET REAL AND SPEAK , "NO YELL OUT" NO MORE! lock them away the first time for life!

You should check your facts. Being accurate makes your argument more effective.

The ACLU doesn't defend NAMBLA, or any other pedophiles, in criminal actions. Never has.

The ACLU defended NAMBLA in a freedom of speech case, when the govt tried to take down NAMBLA's website. However, the website didn't actually call on people to break the law. It merely asked that the laws get changed. So, whether we like what NAMBLA was asking for or not, the mere act of asking for the laws to be changed is protected.

Go after pedophiles all you want. But don't blame the ACLU for defending the Constitutional rights of everyone to speak out. Or you may just find yourself silenced for being unpopular.
