Wasn't he that biker dude who tried to jump the Grand Canyon on a motorcycle that was really a rocket, and not a motorcycle, and crashed a few feet below where he was supposed to land, and fell down into the canyon? Then later jumped the Snake River Canyon? Broke every bone in his body while jumping buses with his cycle?

Oh my ..... I guess that this is really dating me. I do remember him, especially when he tried to jump across the Snake River in Idaho. He was considered - at the time quite a daredevil, and if I remember correctly, his son tried to continue the tradition without much luck.

LOL. That brings back the memories. I had a classmate named Mike Edwards who bragged about the things he could jump on his bicycle. He called himself Evel Edwards. That kid had more broken bones in the history of our school.

I remember watching him jump the fountains at Cesar's Palace in Las Vegas, I also enjoy watching his son Robbie

I knew him..He was nuts with guts...and had a tremendous ability to deal with broken body parts and pain..He did not fake the canyon jump..
