Tricky one... prior to (about) 1992 when the music industry began to report all albums/singles on the top 40 not just the edited, non-metal, non-punk, non-offensive etc. songs, that they wanted to, many of Ozzy's/Black Sabbath's songs sold enough copies to make the top 40 but were deemed unacceptable for radio airplay. This also happened with Metallica, Iron Maiden, Sex Pistols, The Ramones and countless other acts.
Close My Eyes Forever w/ Lita Ford was the first with Ozzy to actually chart, probably because it was a "ballad".
