80% of the time it's the clock spring. Not really a spring, but a coiled ribbon cable behind the steering wheel. If you loose other steering wheel controls like horn, criuse... It's a good bet. If you change it yourself be sure the wheels are in the straight forward position before you start (and when you install the new unit). If you don't feel completely comfortable working on air bags DON'T!

Always perform the appropriate tests before purchasing any parts.

dont attemp to replace the air bags if you havnt done this work before you can get killed
take it to a professional shop
