When you find out that the people you thought were the most loyal to you are not.
Or when someone you love dearly passes away.
But my cure for that is....
just pray and move on. What's done is done :-) Life goes on and prayer helps us along the way!

What is happening in the world and the future safety of my kids or what is going to happen to them when I am gone, wears my spirit and my health down. The normal every day type of thing that wears my spirit down is when you try and do good things just to do them. Then someone comes along and tries to condemn or sabotage your efforts just because they have control issues, jealousy or some sort of inferiority complex and the only thing that will make them happy is to criticize. It happens all the time and mostly with volunteer projects, people all unite to fix a problem and then end up quitting,fighting or being negative and pessimistic instead of remembering what they are there for in the first place.

Only one thing can wear down my spirit.
Being apart from the "places" I love for extended periods.
I'm more comfortable, happy and my spirit most intact in places (most natural but some man-made).

I don't like to hear complaining, gossip or drama about relationships. I am a serene person and I need lots of calm and uplifting experiences in my life. I cut the ropes on anyone who is an emotional vampire. I refuse to be drained by them. Great question!!
