That's silly,if she gets scared naturally at scary movies then her natural reaction will be to be scared. Will that make the baby scared or have tension problems .....no.Unless your cousin gets so over whelmed with such movies that she has anxiety or hypertension then no it will not matter. Her unborn child can't see what she's watching. If she's that worried about it then perhaps she shouldn't watch them.

It is not good for the baby if it bothers HER and she gets upset and anxious. Otherwise I've never heard of scary movies harming an unborn baby. I watched them all the time when I was pregnant!!

Well if they scare her a lot then it could make the baby move around and kick more. Nothing serious. It just depends on how scared she gets when she watches them. I watch them, and I'm just fine while pregnant. They don't scare me much, just make my heart race, but the baby probably doesn't notice at all. Except maybe you should wait to watch The Ring until later.

Thats the most stupid thing i have ever heard. No, it doesnt hurt the baby. Unless your having a nervous breakdown over it, and in that case, you shouldnt be watching a scary movie anyway

if it bothers her it will bother the baby, it has no clue what she is watching, but if her blood pressure and all goes up, maybe its best not to watch them. in reality the movie has no affect at all on the baby other than through the emotions of the mother.
