i would go to the doctors to see if it was a miscarriage.
I had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy and the doctor recommended i wait for 3 months because the risk of having another miscarriage was greater if i conceived within the three months. So obviously you can concieve straight away but it is suggested you wait
anyway good luck

I had a miscarriage too back in November last year and was told by Dr's to wait until my next period before trying for a baby again. The Dr said that it is possible to fall pregnant straight away, and I have had a friend who fell pregnant immediately after her miscarriage, but it is advised to let your body go through a normal cycle before trying again. I would totally advise you see a Dr to make sure that the miscarriage is over and you do not have any products remaining which can sometimes cause infection. I bled for 3 weeks and had a number of scans which showed there were "retained products" and was advised to have a D and C - which I did then had a normal period 4 weeks later. Good luck and have fun trying again soon!

You are actually slightly more fertile after a miscarriage than you are normally because when you are pregnant your body produces progesterone, which makes you more fertile. It takes a while for the progesterone levels to return to normal afterwards.
I don't think you should dwell on whether you had a miscarriage or not. It just sounds like a heavy period that could have been caused by many things. I think if you had had a miscarriage that early it wouldn't have been noticable because it would have just been the egg failing to implant, so would have been like a normal period.
Good luck with your baby making. Make sure both you and your hubby are taking your vitamins - you both need them to ensure your fertility!

you are normally fertile pretty quickly again after a miscarriage; my sister became pregnant six weeks after a miscarraige. Why don't you have a check-up with your doctor; it may not have been a miscarriage; it could have been a hormonal problem. Four months is not a long time to try for a baby. Most doctors won't even consider referring a couple for investigations until you are trying at least a year.

Its my understanding that you are fertile very soon after the miscarriage. However, I would say wait a few months before planning again.
That is what I did.
Depending on your age, if over 30 - Its advisable to take additional folic acid along with your prenatal vitamins.
Its always best to check with your doctor.
Good luck

Hi! i advise you to consult your trusted doctor to verify if the baby inside still has a heartbeat. It's best to know the truth asap, so you'll have more peace of mind. I have a friend who have a miscarriage and it was advised by her doctor that after the "raspa" she should get pregnant after a year so that uterus has enough time to prepare, and the patient has the time for sufficient recovery. If you're a typical sensitive preggy woman, please try NOT to work under pressure and stress, more rest than work. Who knows even if the doctor's advice (this may depend on your doctor) is one year, if you know yourself you are well prepared and ready to conceive again, chances are you might be pregnant within 6 months. Ask also your OB-Gyne as to when is your most fertile day track you menstruation history(because it can be calculated when the ovule will be released) and the doctor can advice the possible or specific date for mating. Good luck and God bless!

i was taking infertility drugs, got pregnant and miscarried..within a month i was preganant again without the help of drugs...so i would say you are super fertile after a misccariage... a lot of people say wait for 6 months etc, but the only thing that took away the pain of miscarrying for me was to be pregnant again, there are no health reasons why you have to wait especially in an early miscarriage. just do whats right for you.good luck

mite not have been a miscarriage. I was 3 weeks pregnant and had my period for 4 days. my daughter is now 10. me and my husband had to try for 6 months before i got pregnant.
but if it was a miscarriage you can conceive again pretty fast depending on your body but it is best to wait and give your body alittle time to heal and rest.My mom had 2 miscarriages
that took up about 2 years but they didnt give up and finally had me.

Yes I agree It does depend on your body, When i miscarried, It I tried as soon as I healed. It took me 6 months before i got pregnant again. I think as soon as your doctor says it's okay for you to try, go right ahead. With prayer God will bless you with a beautiful boy/girl, maybe both. I wish you the best.
