There are certain subjects that I feel more at east talking to women about - so when I meditate, I prefer to "mentally see" that I'm speaking to a woman....is this considered some sort of sin thats gonna end me up in hell - or do you think that god understands the nature of the situation, and will not get upset over the matter....
yes, I'm serious about this....I'm just curious about what others opinion on the matter are....

If 'meditate' means 'pray'...and you're worried that you'll go to hell if you envision God as a female...the way I see it, the only reason we HAVE gender is to procreate. Why would God need a gender? We simply refer to Him as God the father, (and we have Mother Earth) because it's easier for all of us to see things in gender labels, so...no, I don't think something like that would be worth God sending His child to hell for all eternity.

Well, you mention sin and hell, so I'm going to assume that you come from a Christian point of view.
Many Christians will tell you that God is male, especially since God is described with masculine language in the Bible. Churches (especially conservative and traditional chruches) that uphold "male" authority tend to perpetuate this view. However, God is not really a man or a woman - and therefore, does not have "masculine" or "feminine" traits - those are reflections of social stereotypes and divisions, as well as reflections of the way the Bible was written (in Hebrew and Greek, for instance), and the fact that the Bible was written in very patriarchal cultures and societies.
Furthermore, there are places in the Bible where God is described using maternal language. For instance, "El Shaddai" (one of the names for God in the Old Testament) has a meaning of "breasts" in Hebrew - connoting that God is nurturing and providing, that kind of thing.
So... in short... no, you are not going to hell by "meditating" and "seeing" a woman... and yes, God does understand and from a Christian point of view, is probably happier that you are praying at all...

I don't see that any God could object to you seeing her as a woman. It is only the Hebraic religions who don't recognize God a female - after all, woman is the child-bearer and nurturer. Christianity is the most unbalanced religion of all, with it's separate God, separate Heaven, and separate Hell. No-one can tell you where you go when you leave the body - NO-ONE. Live a good life, go by the tenets of most religions in your daily Life, and all will be well. Be at Peace!

The first question I need to ask you isdo you believe in God?
Whether in you mind it is a woman or man is irrelevant.
As long as you are not an Athiest and you believe in a "higher" power that no, I feel that I will see you in heaven one day.....when the time is right.
Don't rush into it, I would like to spend some more time here on Earth with my family.

I believe the Bible says that God isn't a man or a woman. I think it says God is the best of each sex and the worst of neither. So if seeing God as a woman is wrong, so is seeing God as a man.

Your a woman, right. Regardless of that, where is there a sin? You imagine a woman. No sexual desire, is there? Are you saying you imagine God as a woman....? So. You haven't described anything I would deem as eternally punishable there, not by a forgiving, vengeful, loving, or, cruel God.

actually thats a hard question to answer..if you consider that woman another type of god than i guess it would be a sin..but if you consider it god as in Jesus Christ or whoever you beleive in i dont think it would be a sin..look just ask God for forgiveness and try to think of God himself not the woman..good luck...dont worry...

It could mean that you are heterosexual and any kind of sexual will automatically exclude you from heaven. Nudity is also prohibited as Adam and Eve quickly found out as soon as they ate the apple.
No, sex is a disqualified. It's dirty, nasty, filthy and should be saved for someone you love.
