This isn't a wive's tale, but if you have sex between 12to 14 days after the first day of your last period, you will more that likely be ovulating. Also, after sex, (this may be a little graphic, but it worked for me) lift your bottom up on a couple of pillows and elevate for about an hour and tell those little spermies to swim, swim! My husband & I were married for 2yrs with unprotected sex, even though we weren't trying, we were suprise we didn't end up pg. Well the first time we were TTC, we tried this method, because we thought maybe he had low sperm count or my cervix might be tilted causing the sperm to die off before reaching the egg. Well, it worked the first AND the second times! Then, we accidentally got pg the third time & ended up with twins! LOL Hope this helps!

Have unprotected sex. No J/K. I used a ovulation monitor, watched it close. I also kept up on my vitamins and tried a product called Ovulex. It increases your vaginal mucus to help you concieve. Check out there site. www.yourfertilitychoice.com. Good Luck! Also don't stress, almost pretend your not trying.

I agree with the bum on the pillow method!

My husband went a step further when we were TTC and held my legs up in the air. It was definitely not the most romantic image ever, but it may have worked. Fingers crossed!
