wow....i dont know any real fans that would be talking smack after 2 lucky wins in a row. Any team who keeps living like that will die like that. They came out dead in the first half and if UT would have kept up the defensive intensity this game wouldnt even have been close! OSU is an extremely luck basketball game. Even with the game close they should not have called a foul with the game tied, with 6 seconds left.
I cant believe a fan would say they have too much talent to lose when they just had to get lucky to beat a 5 seed and a 9 seed. They will go down in the next round wait and see.
Oden got into to foul trouble, but did you notice that while he was in the game he got SHUT DOWN offensively as UT denied him the ball with players that are 6'7" and 6'9"? He played ten minutes in the first half and had 2 touches, and only 1 shot!
You might wanna take it down a notch, this team's luck will run out soon.

Yo....PROPS to 'em. Tonight's game was a win-win situation, see an AWESOME upset, or my bracket remains stable. They were down 20, and came back, and friggin' won. That's rare even for a #1 seed. Ohio St. is known for what they did just a few hours ago. They gain an itty-bitty amount of momentum, and they just stay level-headed and they keep pressing hard until they're back in the game. They have the talent to change the pace of the game whenever they can. However, when Greg Oden didn't produce (2 points in the first half), that's when the Vols took over. Perhaps this game exposed a weakness in this powerhouse...

I won't say that, but I will say that they are a very composed team with Thad Matta at the helm. He's the reason they won tonight. I'm not saying they aren't talented, because they clearly are one of the most talented teams in the NCAA, but great coaching goes a lot farther than raw talent.

OHIO STATE BUCKEYES: A GUIDE ON HOW TO SURVIVE THE NCAA TOURNAMENT by Thad Matta
1) Approach ref night before game
2) Offer him a wad of cash to let you advance to the elite 8
3) He doesnt want that, so you pull down his pants and give him a hummer
4) Game day comes, ref bats his pretty little eyes at Thad, and Buckeyes get lucky again
or should i say, the ref got lucky last night?

It seems that they play more like a team when Oden is on the bench, Oden is a great player and will continue to be but like Shaq he can suck the energy out of his teammates.
