This more likely a hardware problem. If it is a problem with the keyboard driver, then you should be experiencing a problem with the entire keyboard. But, since you are experiencing a problem with only two particular keys (5 and 6)... so this could be a hardware issue. Anyways, the best way to identify the cause of the problem is to use an external keyboard, from a desktop PC.
Connect an external keyboard and check for the problem. If you dont have any problem on external keyboard then this indicates that there is no problem with the keyboard driver. In such a case, try cleaning the keyboard on the notebook. You could use "Canned air" to clean the keyboard and remove dust and debris underneath the keyboard. If the problem is not resolved, then contact the notebook manufacturer.
All the best.

Get a new keyboard, or use the 2 and the 3 for 5, and the 3 and 3 for 6. Like "I will meet you at 2+3 O'Clock on Friday night"

I presume, since you don't say, it is a desktop computer. Turn it upside down and whack it with the flat of your hand. If anything is lodged in the works, it will come out. You can, believe it or not, try washing it, you have nothing to lose, it's busted anyway. Unplug it, of course, rinse in warm water with a little mild dish soap, slosh it gently around for a few minutes, rinse in clear warm water, shake it gently upside down to get as much water out as possible, then air dry. If you have a hair dryer, blow it out at the lowest setting. Leave it overnight aand then plug it in and see what happens. If that doesn't fix it, buy a new one for as little as $10 or $15. If it is a notebook, DO NOT WASH IT!
