I love Randy Foye long term, but I think Bargnani's recent surge and his teams sucess has solidified it for him. Roy's missed time hurts him and Morrison dropped off. Bargnani is the choice!

Brandon Roy of Portland will win and deserves to win, in spite of missing 20 games at the beginning of the season. In addition to his plucky stats (16 PPG, 4 RPG, 4APG), he has become a legitimate 2nd option for the Blazers, and sometimes the first option. His impact on the team has elevated them out of th doldrums of last place last year and put them on the road to respectablity, as has LaMarcus Aldridge.
Andrea Bargnani is probably the 2nd choice, followed by Paul Millsap and Rudy Gay.
Adam Morrison does not deserve the honor at all, in my opinion. The guy shoots 38% and defines inconsistency. He may find his mark eventually, but he has really struggled to translate his game to the pro level.
While this rookie class has been repeatedly disparaged by the media, several rookies have come on strong to close out the season. While there may not be instant superstars like the class of 2003, I can see several solid starters emerging from this rookie crop, and more than a few legitimate stars.

Brandon Roy!!! Even though he has missed a few games, he has still produced the most and played pretty consistently. I hope The Stache doesn't get the award because all he does is shoot the ball 15 times and makes it about 4 times. And Roy has to win it because it's in his name.
Roy= Rookie Of the Year.

It's gotta be Brandon Roy, he's playing a larger role on the Blazers then any other rookie is on his team, consequently he's leading all rookies in scoring, and I believe assists too, it's tough to make an argument for anyone else.

Adam Morrison. Based on numbers he's the best rookie. I dont think he is technically the best player from this rookie class, but he has gotten the most playing time allowing him to put up the best numbers.

most probably brandon roy of the portland trail blazers. he's the most complete, nba-ready rookie in his batch. plus the fact that randy foye's struggling, andrea bargnani just had an appendectomy, rudy gay struggled early, and adam morrison doesn't know how to defend
