Why do men at work try to impress there co-worker and feel more jealous on her proformance, salary package etc

Question

Cannot they treat her equal why do they think that she is getting more bucks due to the factor of being a lady.
I want an answer which will make my day as i am working with such male oriented thinking people.

By nature men have a very big ego..and cannot accept a female as his equal, eventhough they talk equality, when it comes to enforcing it........its little difficult for them

Because that is how we are wired. Chivalry is natural, but under etiquette driven office atmosphere has to be kept under
control. For a career woman this is an embarrassment that has to be handled with simple courage.

If you can raise above your conscious feeling of being a woman and start looking at men as your equal and not in any way as a superior creature, you may not leave a residual impression of wrong reasons. Practise continuously up to a level that you do not find a difference between a male and female touch. A lesser sex appeal in dresses and make up keeps men at their respective distance.

The jungle law runs deep in man. He somehow always feels he should be the one who is earning more. Not all workplaces are like that anymore.
I am sorry you are working in such a place. Stick ur head out for sometime, ask around, find out if there is a better place to work and shift . .because some men will never change.

Man is dominating by nature. That's the reason why they are jealous about performance, salary package etc. The jealiousness even there in between male colleagues. So, don't worry. Just remember if someone is jealeous about u that means he/she thinks u r competing with him/her.

In male oriented world & workplace, you have to face this....but one thing is sure....most of the women employees are not so efficient.....some are excellent and they are to face the music.
