I married my same sex partner in June of 2005. We seperated shortly after and now Im living back in the United States. My wife refuses to send me divorce papers even though we're both in new relationships and have been separated for over a year now. I dont have a job at the moment. What's the best way to go about getting divorced?

Contact a lawyer in the state you got married in. They should be able to help you further. You don't need her consent nor help to get a divorce.

well first find out if your marriage is even recognized where you live .if not find out about where you were married is it actually legal there? if not you dont need a divorce if it is considered legal there you may have to pursue legal action with a lawyer from there.good luck.

Well are you a US resident or just here on a visa.? If you just live here then I don't know. But if you were bore him you can try to get legal aid lawyer and try that way. But if she doesn't sign them they it will do you know good anyways.
