There is a red spot on my eye I just noticed it today, the past few days though it has been painful and itchy almost like pinkeye...
Help it really hurts and my doctor can't see me for a few weeks... I am really nervous about it..
I googled red spots on my eye and it brought up a busted blood vessel and it also brought up cancer... could this be cancerous? I am really freaked out...
Please answer this...

Does it make you look like you haven't slept in a week? Is the whole eyeball red or blotchy? If you have a tendancy to have your fingers in your eyes alot, this could be an infection and you will need eye drops to get rid of it. It can be caused from rubbing your eyes alot or transferring germs from your hands to your eyes. I hope this helped.

Call your Dr and tell them that if they can't get you in today, you are going to an ER. Most Dr's hate that as the hospital bills them for the visit when they could have made time for you.
Also try the website www.webmd.com They have way better info than google.
