LOL Ok so first I read what everything said. I'm from Iowa. I live in Des Moines our capital city. Des Moines is a small version of a big city. We have 4 malls like 3 walmarts. We dont all like steak. I know many vegetarians and vegans. We don't love corn. living in the city, corn has no affect on my daily life. Its borning. Unless your with the right people. Some fun things to do are, Greys Lake, Water Works, Salorville Dam, Adventureland, the loop,Rocky Horror Picture Show, theres more tho.

Everyone is very friendly, the pace is a lot slower there, not a lot to do, but go out to eat and a few other things, shopping at Walmart seems to be a favorite around there. Des Moines has a nice botanical center, zoo, and the state capital building is quite impressive with that huge gold dome. I noticed that most marry young and you see couples and their families everywhere. Some towns seem to have a lot of elderly folks, again, very warm and friendly.

I once dated a girl from Iowa who was a very beautiful and kind person. I have visited Des Moines recently and found the people to be extremely nice!

Normal people. We aren't farmers or raise cattle or eat corn all the time. We have fast food places.... the mall, we know who paris hilton and brit spears are. I live on the border of IL & IA.
