Prune juice should help you..if you can tolerate it...i couldnt stand the smell of it while i was pregnant. Also they make laxitives that arent harsh at all...they are alot easier on you. I actually bought the ones that look like small candy bars and are chocalate flavored. Also you may just want to take a stool softener...might be easier on your digestive system. Another suggestions and you may think im nuts but it has worked for so many people i know....eat a hamburger. Im not sure what it is but it really helps...im not pregnant now but if i have problems i go through McDonalds and get a burger problem fixed. There was even something about it on one of the home remedys sites. Never know it may work for you....good luck and congrats on the baby.

water. water. water. and fiberous foods. if you're drinking any soda, cut down because caffeine is a diaretic. best thing too is to exercise, even if you are tired and fatigued, but exercising helps in that area as well. the most important thing is - do not strain. hemrrhoids are not good. the prune juice idea is good as well. mix all these up and you'll fix the problem.

Fiber, fiber, fiber. Eat plenty of fresh (not canned or frozen if you can help it) fruits and veggies every day and drink plenty of water. If you hate prune juice, you can get pear juice in the baby aisle and it will also help you go.

Hope everything comes out okay!

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Keep up on fluids, juices work well to keep things flowing. Otherwise, there is bran, anykind of fiber, and fruit all keep the plumbing functioning properly, and they are good for the baby!

I will tell you the best thing to do is drink a cup of coffee! I had the same problem while I was pregnant and all it would take is one cup of coffee and I was home free! If that doesn't work, eat popcorn!
