If someone is suffering from some horrible past event in his life of which he was a victim, it would be good if he had this pill to erase the memory of that specific event.
If someone has a guilty conscience over something bad he had done in the past, he should not be allowed to have this pill. He should have to live with his mistake.
We take pills for everything else. You need to read an old book by Ira Levin (he wrote Rosemary's Baby and The Boys from Brazil) called THIS PERFECT DAY. Everyone in the book gets a regular injection of feel good medication, and everyone is in the same pleasant mood, etc. It's quite a concept. You should read it.
