She recenty sued Fox because the Family Guy made fun of her since she wouldn't give them permission to use a song from her old show. This is someone who made a living satirizing others and now she's upset that someone did it to her? What gives?

A performers material is THEIR property, and permission must be given before it is used. When Family Guy didn't get what they wanted, they used the show for revenge to slander the refuser. This is not the first time they have done this. This is how they get unwilling people to surrender material. It's the...."OK,...if you don't give it to us we'll make you look bad. When satarization, or the power of a show, or network, is used as blackmail or revenge (or as an inside message to others)....it ceases to be funny.

No. She's a classic, influencial performer who has earned the right to say no to being used for a stupid joke. It's not her type of comedy and Family Guy is pretty much the exact opposite in taste.

She needs to lighten up, I'm glad everyone is not as hypocritical as her. Her show was based on making fun of people and yet when someone tries to make fun of her all hell breaks loose.
