I think I know what your after. It sounds a bit like my tastes when I was younger. The punk starter kit for me was The Misfits, Black Flag, The Sex Pistols and The Circle Jerks. As my tastes got more particular I gravitated to the same stuff you're looking for. Bad Brains are definate high energy DC Punk from the way back. Pennywise is one of the only newer generation that are still hard and fast and not "pop". Corrosion of Conformity's first three are a must; "Eye for an Eye", "Animosity" and the "Technocracy" EP all will get the blood flowing, any COC later than that sucks! I loved the Accused, but their stuff may be hard to find. From the UK, the Exploited and GBH are musts in my book. A few others worth trying: Cro-Mags, FEAR, Minor Threat...Fugazi, Cryptic Slaughter, SNFU, TSOL, Agent Orange, Naked Raygun, Husker Du, 7 Seconds, Rollins Band, Murphys Law, The Mentors, Social Distortion's pre rockabilly stuff... Something you might try is going to Pandora.com and creating a staion of one of the bands that you like and see what they dig up. Have a pen and paper ready and when that sound comes that you like, write it down and check out other albums from that group. You're already on the right track with Suicidal but search engines tend to group them with Thrash Metal...which aint bad either. At any rate, welcome to the other side!
