Donating portion of proceeds to Humane society
No employees except myself.
No business license I looked up laws and don't think I need one
Providing own equipment
Any laws on advertising I live downtown and want to drop off flyers also possibly hang signs on light poles?
I might need power supply from homeowner if additional services requested
Probably not doing fertilization unless license is inexpensive for this in which I would need a license correct? Also I think I would need certification am I correct?
Would fert. be possible if they provide fertilizer and I just apply?

You should have liability insurance. If one of your customers decided you did damage (even though you didn't) you could end up in court.

Your best bet is to incorporate and then you will not be personally liable. Plus you can take your expenses off your taxes.

Get contracts that state what exactly they are getting and you are getting. A simple one will do. Get signatures authorizing work to be done.
