Well, most people do not use Vaseline with eyemake-up unless they are trying to remove make-up. The oil tends to break down the make-up.

That being said. . .

However, you can use it with eyeliner to have a smeared/wet look. It also adds shine.
Please note: that this will cause creasing over the course of the day and possible bleeding of make-up.

If you want to use it with eyeshadow (which I recommend you don't !): Put the eyeshadow on first and then the Vaseline. Or pre-mix it before applying. If you put Vaseline on first you may not get they eyeshadow to go on even.

Vaseline is a great moisturizer if you have really dry skin. I love it for chapped lips. Better than conventional chap stick, as it is an not addictive moisturizer as most chap sticks are made to do. Most are chocked full of chemicals so your mouth depends on them to stay moist, so they never really heal.

All applying Vaseline with your eyeshadow does is give your eyeshadow more dept as far as shine. It will make it look like liquid or plastic eyeshadow and make it stand out like a cream eyeshadow. If done correctly it looks really nice. You can also turn eye shadows into lip glosses or lip colors with Vaseline, depending on how much Vaseline you use. And you can give a blush more dept with vaseline also. Your cheeks will be shiny though. LOL.

the only time that I know you can use Vaseline is when taking make-up off. If you use it with your eye shadow it could irritate your eyes when sweat. it should also make the eye shadow two grease and when you close your eyes the eye shadow will be miss up.

I already shared with you how great an eye makeup remover Vaseline (or generic petroleum jelly) is. But it also works on chapped lips. Slick on a lot of Vaseline on your lips, then using a fresh toothbrush (not the one you use every day), massage the Vaseline into your lips. This will get rid of dry, scaly dead skin & will leave your lips soft & chap-free.

Hi! You can mix a powder or cream eyshadow with a little vaseline, but it won't stay as good. Vaseline is made of rubber products like tires and it can actually age the skin in the long run.It will make the color more shiny when you mix. good luck!

You apply a THIN layer on your eyelid and then proceed to apply the eyeshadows as you would usually do, like someone mentioned, it makes it harder to blend, but I know you'll get it. It makes the e/s shinier and last longer. I don't use it everyday so I can't exactly tell you if it'll "damage" your skin in anyway. Trust me, if you do it right, it will NOT crease and will last all day. Good Luck! =)

you do NOT use vaseline on your face ever...period. It could clog your tearducts and wreak havoc on your pores.

Instead, use a makeup primer or try Monistat Ortho Chafing Relief Sport Chafing Relief Powder-Gel applied as a makeup base.

You apply a VERY thin coat to your eye lid then put the eyeshadow over it. It takes a little longer to put on the eyeshadow b/c the surface is stickier than usual but it lasts longer and don't build up in your creases.

Why would you want to use vaseline? It will not stay on long because it will be too greasy...are your eye lids dry?
