i did not want to go into the store so i wanted them to come to my house ..... does anyone have an idea of how much they charge?

It depends on the artist. They all charge different fees. A lot of times they charge a lower price if a group of people are getting their make-up done.

But the cheapest I've been quoted was $25. But you do have to go to the store and talk to the artists. Normally their information isn't given out over the phone....unless you know who you want to talk to.

Most MAC artists do not work 'off-site' unless they do so independently. As a former professional makeup artist, I charged $200.00 for a basic, beauty makeup application. For lessons, it was $300.00. And I always received a gratuity on top of the fee (normally no less than $80). If a makeup artist is worth her salt, you will pay around this price for good work.
