like the guy he's a Greek boy from the U.S and he brings alot to the game. Sure he's a bit older now but I hope he can surpass Gordie Howe with age playing in the NHL. It would be nice if he could go back to Montreal where he started his career and maybe more Greeks will come out to the games. Go Chris Go!!

chris chelios is my favorite player.he is in great shape and can keep up with men half his age.i watched him play last night and his defense did not look like somebody getting ready to retire.mickey redman says that his work out is more strenuous than guys a lot younger than him.i think he will play a few more years.then i think the wings will use him in some other capacity

He wont stop playing until he is past the point where he can make a difference. Even then he will retire and play in a senior league because playing the game to him is his reason to exist. it is his life. Id guess 52

As long as he wants - he's Chris Chelios. Even if the Red Wings let him go, there will instantly be another team who wants him - if not for his long-passed speed, than for his knowledge, his teamwork, and his fantastic leadership both on and off the ice.

Don't worry about his body. And since he never had a step, there is no danger of him losing it now.
I think he'll play as long as someone pays him to do so. He loves the game, has no desire to do anything else and if he's at the rink he's not in his wife's hair.

He will play until he is 72 and a half years old, then he will get hit by a bus on his way to the grocery store.

Chelios will probably stay in the league until he's in his early fifties!

I think he has said that if he can, he'll play into his fifties.
I wouldn't put it past him either, though he is starting to decline some. I personally think he has two or three more years after this year.

i don't know i think after what happened at his Bar restaurant with the murder and all of his employees in the restaurant he might actually think about retiring after this season. if he doesn't he will probably play 2 or 3 more years.
