It's catchy and the songwriters are just hoping that you won't notice it's in every song. Anyone dumb enough to spend money on Fergie's music probably isn't bright or discerning enough to notice such a phenomenon in the first place.

Well, it's catchy quite simply. If my seven year old can spell out the words in her songs, I think I should be able to write a ditty or two. *note to self: Write song with a dance beat and incorporate the words zebra, museum, dinosaur, and animals in the hook. (spelling words of the week)*

I think she quit school at an early grade say....8th or 9th and she wants the world to think not only can she sing but that she is really really smart....
