How do you afford to live in your harbour city?

good question, we brought a house a few years ago, just before the boom. My kids will not be able to afford one in 15-20 years. It is way to expensive.

well, I live in sydney but it's a fair way from the harbour so housing is a little more affordable. I doubt you'll find anyone with a harbour view on yahoo Answers, they're busy making money to pay their mortgage.

save up,spend less,i dont spend much,dont have a car,but theres something to be said for spending all ya money,like a big party on top of the harbour bridge

my brother works for Aristocrat, the poker machine company, as a regional salesman

that's how he affords to live in Sydney

I work as a programmer for a software company, but i live in Newcastle where it's cheap and has better beaches

By strugggling.... its unbelievably expensive..... Especially if your not earning big dollars...
