You were raised to respect the "religion"
You were raised to believe they were your parents.
You were raised around policemen, military men, doctors, government officials, company owners, etc...all a part of this religion.
You have been preparing for a ceremony to celebrate your coming adulthood.
The ceremony will bein one month.
Do you stay? Or do you run for your life and try to find your real parents?

I'd play undercover. I'd contact BBC, CNN and Al Jazeera sell them the story and have a hidden camera to record the ceremony coverage. That would make me rich. And have the Homeland Security nuke the damn cult if they dare sacrifice me. Or if not, at least my story would be remembered. :)

I guess that would depend upon what the ceremony was going to involve, and whether you felt loved and accepted by these people or alienated and abused. Or whether you were still a free thinker or had been successfully brainwashed.

What happens? Are you going to be harmed in the ceremony or anything? If so I would run, call the police.
