No not at all - I can remember thinking as a child that I could not wait until I was all grown up so that I could do what I wanted-lol. I'm 57 when will I be as free as I want? Like never.

Depends. I am TOO free. Parents passed. Husband & I divorcing (after 20 years). Katrina took out my business (horse farm). Kids all grown and living on their own (Don't seem to need mama so much nowadays). And yet, I can't seem to shake free from myself. Go figure.

Yes, we are blessed to live in Canada, we have freedom of speech, a home to
live in, kids, grandkids, food. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I'm free to
be happy, go to church, visit friends, go to a show, so many freedoms, and I
thank God for all of them.

Irony ~ we are never as free as we want to be, yet we are freer than we believe we are.
