Yes, he's just being casual , playful is a better word. Think of him as your friend and have fun..... no worries : )

He is comfortable with loving a person as a friend. Hopefully the only time you hear the words I love you in your lifetime will not just be from people that desire to sleep with you. Grow up a bit love is not sexual love is caring and this young man obviously cares for you as a friend. A little maturity please don't go reading anything else into the situation.

I think you have a true friend there. Enjoy it and don't look for a boy/girlfriend relationship. I have some of the same guy friends for over 30 years and it is a treasure. I am a female, married with children. My family knows them and also enjoys their company,,however infrequent.

All the time. As a guy I used to drop the "L" word way too much. Take his comments with a grain of salt. His love is different from your love, trust me.

It sounds like he is being casual. Some people toss out "I love you" all the time. How you tell the diff. is their actions. Do their actions say "I love you" or is it only words.

That's odd, especially for a guy to say I love you so casually like that.

I myself rarely say I love you, unless I truly mean it.

You can love someone and it does not have to be sexual in nature. You can love your family, your best friends. OWWWWW dude, never eat habenero doritos and rub your eyes... Its not words that I throw around, but i have heard others that are only aquaintances that say love ya, love you so much, ect... Its usually to get something.

he does love you but to find out what kind of love he feels for you will mean asking him....

but mostly guys who say that in that way really mean they treaure you as a dear friend and love having you in their life.

He is being casual, when a man truly means it he shows it more than he says it.
