The quote is "Do not Meddle with the Affairs of Dragons".

I think I saw it on a girl's shirt, and at the time it seemed familiar. Now I can't place where it came from. I think it was a book, but I'm not even sure about that. Any help (or even if it has an identifiable source) is appreciated.

I'm fairly sure it's a takeoff of Tolkein's "Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger." That's from Lord of the Rings, specifically The Fellowship of the Ring, early on in the book when Sam and Frodo are talking with the elves on their way to Bree.
