cultural and ethnic questions?

These are serious questions, and are not meant to offend or hurt anyone. Please answer with respect!

1) Why do you think the general population of Asian/Asian Americans are more "successful" than the general population of African Americans or Mexican American?

2) When you hear the words "Asian", "Mexican", "Jew", "Caucasian" or "Black", what do you think about? What stereotypes do you come up with?

3) In the future, what do you think will happen to the relationship between China and America? Why?

4) Can you tell me about a time that culture difference has deeply shocked you? (either yourself or someone else)

I care because I like to know what and how people think. America is a "melt-pot", with different cultures and religion and differences. That is why the US is so great.

I do not think it is wrong to wonder about things that we deal with everyday.

Don't you, too, think a certain way about certain peope? Even when you want to?

I can tell that you're a little offended... and I can only guess why, since you won't tell me. Drama isn't always bad... it's better to make them known than to hide them inside.

Please don't take my questions the wrong way. I am Asian, and believe it or not, I have to deal with those questions every single day-- just like everyone else.

And I DO NOT judge people based on stereotypes. If I did, I wouldn't bother asking these questions.

I repeat, I DO NOT mean to offend anyone...

Please just say whatever you want to about any race, as long as that is REALLY what you think.

1) I think that Asians are more successful than ALL Americans because they put education first.

2) When I hear Caucasian, especially women, do not get offended, I think of loose morals, promiscuous, weak, dishonest, whiners etc.

4) Yes, when I was stationed in Germany. My white friend and myself were in BDUs ( Battle Dress Uniform) and went to McDonald's. We were obviously AMerican and soldiers. They would not wait on us until every other person was waited on.

1) Probably they put education first, and they are very ambitious. Many Asian families own liquor stores or some sort sort of stores. In most countries they emigrated to, that's what they do-commerce! they also have good work ethics, the stores open from 9 till 11, no exception!

2)Asian-quiet, mexican& Jew-no idea, caucasian-social climbers,Black-judged,emotionally challenged & butt working twice hard than Caucasian to prove themselves.

3) Obviously the relationship is growing stronger, China will grow, and emerge more powerful as a nation of the Asia-Pacific

4) I emigrated to French Canada, and these ppl seem to be spitefall against religions, harder against Catholicism and are mostly Atheists. Nobody thinks much of God.

Anyone who is successful in life is taught to seriously value their education. The whole reason why Asians get the stereotype of being smarter than everyone, not just other minorities, is because a lot of them do value their education. I personally do not care about stereotypes in the least. You're an ignorant fool if you listen to them and use them to judge others. I don't care about our relationship with China, tsk on me. And I have honestly never had some huge culture shock okie dokie? The end.

The only one I have an answer for is #1. They have more dicipline and the a tougher work ethic.

I have a question for you, why do you care? Questions like this cause so much drama, so why ask them? Answer that!
