I agree. He can still play, people who say he should quit because he's holding the Pack back haven't watched a game the last two years. He's still one of the most exciting players to watch, he still pulls of plays I've never seen anyone else do. People won't realize it until he leaves that yes, he can still play. How many young QBs do you see running down the field in excitement and picking his WR up over his shoulders. The guy is a throwback that will be missed when he does retire, so lets no rush it.

I am a diehard Packers fan and I say he's still got it. Just watch next season. Our offensive line got alot better towards the end of the season. Considering we started 2 rookies, they didn't do that bad. As for the wide recievers, Driver is incredible and Jennings is getting better. Fergeuson won't be around long, but is still decent when he isn't injured. If we got Moss, Favre could show what he could do. Also, a tight end would help seeing as Bubba franks has turned to ****.

I definetly agree he has great leadership but you really have to keep an eye on his age because one day he will be hurt realy bad. Then agian you have to say that some of the Intercetions are on Brett not only on his receivers yes he has a rebuilding team but most of that is exscusese. Remember they have a preety darn good second string QB so they shoulden't be scared if Farve does retire.

people are stupid Favre is still one of the best qbs in the game. give favre mannings recivers and o-line and he would put up monster numbers again. granted he isn't the favre of the 90s but he is still great. he has atleast 2-3 years left and i hope he stays for at least 2 more years.
Favre 4 ever.

I'm a Steeler fan, but Brett Favre is my favorite active NFL player. The man personifies the word "football" and he isn't a prima donna QB. He still has a great arm, fearlessness, great leadership abilities, and a child-like love for the game.
All he needs is a better supporting cast.

Believe it. bretts' still got it. and there was a marked improvement on the teams overall performance towards the end of the year. They were just one game out . i havent kept with the pack in awile but if they get some offensive help out of the draft or free agency if they have room on their
spending cap.
all in all if Bret gets the talent he needs hes got the spark he could make a serious run at the superbowl next season
thats just what bret brings on the field with him i wouldn't make that claim about any other team. I would bite my tongue for any other team at least a season

No matter how old, Brett Favre is always going to be able to put up good numbers even with a pretty young and inexperianced offence. He can keep playing until his arm drops off.

His is a great player and is all of what you say, but he is old. maybe have you considered that he might be getting tired and wants to go himself. and if that isn't the case then i tottaly agree with you. he is great and shouldn't go if he doesn't want to i mean look at John Lynch he's 47 and doing the Broncos great. the only reason Favre should go is if he wants to!

People confuse his teams poor play and place the blame on him. He has the potential to lead a team to the playoffs he just needs another playmaker around him.

His time has been up for almost two years but he cant face leaving the game and the packers don't have the heart to let him go.For someone who is supposed to be a team player he sure is being selfish.
